Burnamwood Camp and Conference Center, Irvine, Kentucky, has resided in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky for over 50 years. With 50 years comes a lot of history, a lot of memories, a lot of tradition. Well, in 2010, Burnamwood is reaching out and doing something new, beginning a new tradition. During the summer months of June and July, Burnamwood will be opening a three story home nestled into the side of a mountain to youth groups from across the country.

The groups will stay on site at Burnamwood, enjoying its three lakes, swimming pool, hiking, volleyball, and more! But, more importantly, these groups will venture out each day into Appalachia to take the love of Burnamwood beyond the boundaries of the camp for the first time. Our full-time Summer Mission Coordinator will arrange all work sites and even provide all of the meals. This is a hassle-free mission trip for youth directors and a chance for youth to open their eyes to extreme poverty in America. Spots are still open, but filling up fast!
