SENIOR HIGH SPIRIT WALK
Directed by Wanda Olive
Take time away from the hustle and bustle and let in the Holy Spirit. This intimate retreat allows high schoolstudents to delve a little bit deeper into their faith, to ask tough questions, and to reflect on their own faith journey. And of course, nothing is more beautiful than Burnamwood covered in snow!

Come celebrate a gorgeous Kentucky spring in the foothills of Camp Burnamwood! Join your friends and Rev. Kyle Brown for meaningful worships, wonderful conversations, fun games, and time spent in the beautiful outdoors!

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPRING RETREAT
Directed by Garrett Moore
Make room for four square, camp songs, star gazing, sunbathing on the dam and of course the Holy Spirit! What could be more fun than a bunch of middle schoolers from across the Presbytery, crazy fun counselors, and a fantastic weekend? Be sure to reserve your spot and bring a friend!

3rd, 4th, 5th GRADE SPRING RETREAT
Directed by Lisa Stevens
Kids will have the opportunity to learn together in small groups, participate in worship services, explore their own faith questions and truly expereince the power of God's love. And as always, don't forget the hiking, the cmapfire, singing and s'mores!

CABIN ADOPTION PROJECT WORK DAY 
Churches in the Transylvania Presbytery volunteer to be a part of Burnamwood's Cabin Adoption Project (CAP). By doing this, they graciously work on one of Burnamwood's seven cabins, providing important maintenance and renovations. We have several special days set aside throughout the year for groups to work on their cabin. We invite everyone to join us on May 18-19 for the first work days of 2012! Whether your church has adopted a cabin or just want to lift a hammer and get to work, we're happy to to host everyone working together to keep this ministry beautiful!

BURNAMWOOD SUNDAY AND OPEN HOUSE
 Burnamwood is a bright ministry of the Transylvania Presbytery, teaching many about God's creation. Jesus's ministry, fellowships, and mission outreach. On May 20, we invite all churches in the Transylvania Presbytery to join us together in worship. At 11:00 a.m., we will hold a traditional worship service on the grounds of Burnamwood and Rev. Pete Jones of Pisgah Presbyterian Church will preach. Seating will be provided on the lawn and in the case of rain, worship will be held in the dining hall. After the worship, a complimentary lunch will be provided, followed by an open house of summer camp. The afternoon will be filled with opportunities to go boating, talk with summer staff and volunteers, and tour the site. For those churches or members who cannot attend we hope that you will take the time to peruse our liturgical materials and consider remember Burnamwood through word and a special offering in your worship on May 20. 

JUNE 2012
MAY 29-JUNE 1
SUMMER STAFF TRAINING
Summer staff will gather for a week of training, including: safety, First Aid/ CPR, outdoor education, team building, and curriculum, worship, and group dynamics. At the end of training, staff will begin to prepare the physical state of camp for all the summer campers!

LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP
Directed by Katelyn Campbell
High schoolers who are interested in becoming a counselor-in-training (CIT) or those who would like leadership training are invited to attend this camp. Those in attendance will be given an orientation similar to that of Burmamwood summer staff, including learning about age characteriscs, counseling techniques, group dynamics, and basic first aid training. 

11-16
SENIOR HIGH CONFERENCE 
Directed by Joel Stanley
This popular, high-energy camp for high schoolers is known for making memories. Talent shows, small groups, boating, swimming, worships, dances, games, and enjoying every moment!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CONFERENCE 
Directed by Rev. Patrick Laney
This camp has something for all those middle schoolers! Come learn more about your faith, hang out with friends, living in the woods for a week! 

25-29
3rd, 4th, 5th GRADE CONFERENCE
Directed by Beth Garrod-Logsdon
Meet new friends at Burnamwood during the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade retreat! Campers come to stay in cabins, learn about in God's creation, and play! 

JULY 2012
9-14
SENIOR HIGH ADVENTURE CAMP
Directed by Dave Carpenter
Put a new spin on the traditional camp you know. This camp is for high schoolers who want a little bit of adventure. Campers sleep in late, stay up later, and spend time exploring and learning about nature including venturing out on some of the beautiful hikes at Burnamwood. At the end of the week, campers will be leave with knoweldge of important outdoor skills like using compassess, building fires, and cooking outdoors. 

16-20
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th GRADE MADD CAMP
Directed by Martha Campbell
For those finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grdes, join us during this week of music, arts, dance, and drama. Campers will spend the week contributing to the writing of a script, desiging a set, singing, dancing, and acting. Parents can watch it all, when they see their campers perform on Friday!

23-25
MIDDLE SCHOOL PIONEER CAMP
Middle schoolers learn outdoor skills from experienced staff members! Campers will sleep in tents as they learn skills like: setting up tents, building campfires, identifying plans, and all while having a great time with friends! 

23-25
1st AND 2nd GRADE CAMP 
Directed by Lisa Stevens
This mini-camp is a great way to introduce those finishing 1st and 2nd grade to Burnamwood. Campers will meet new friends, stay in cabins, and play games! 


AUGUST 2012
3-5

FAMILY CAMP
Directed by Rev. Woody Berry
Bring the whole family out to camp for the weekend! This is a wonderful opportunity for adults and children to explore their own faith. Children and youth will ahve small groups wiht the summer staff while adults will have the opportunity for breakout sessions for bible study and discussion. And of course, all will be together for meals, hikes, games, and worships for true family togetherness!
